JM & some Quick Wins for the New Farming Season

There is no doubt that JM and Maude-Helen have not only revolutionized modern market gardening, but also produced a model whose core tenants have put it within reach as a vocation for most of the folks on the podcast and those reading this very post. The Market Gardener is easily on all of our at No-Till Growers short lists of most inspiring and foundational reads. He was also one of the first—of a growing number—to offer an online course walking aspiring and seasoned growers through the processes from seed to sale at La Ferme des Quatre-Temps. Two years ago, we reviewed the course and offered our thoughts, and since the course has only grown and refined.

Tomorrow, he’ll be offering a free workshop… I’ll just let them tell it, here’s the copy.

Want to learn some key strategies to set your farm up for success this season? Sign up for the new 3-part online workshop from The Market Gardener, Quick Wins for the New Farming Season to learn from Jean-Martin Fortier about lifestyle habits, management strategies, and tips to make your daily farm work easier while maintaining a good quality of life. Click on this link to register for free! The workshop is starting on March 24th, 2021, and will only be available for a limited period of time.

JM is not one to offer something “for free” only for you to get nothing in return but a sales pitch. Sure, he’ll probably ask you to sign up for the waiting list to the Market Gardener course, but that will be the cost of getting some truly good and actionable information. Myself, I don’t watch most things like this anymore because I’m tired of folks wasting my time just to try to sell me something. But, I’ll be tuning into this one. Why? He’s giving away some of the most important information for free. If nothing else, it’s a reminder we not lose sight of ourselves and our families in the chaos that was 2020 and will inevitably be 2021.

Take care of yourselves this year. Here’s a few quick ways to do just that.
